Logistics needs change – and people who drive it forward 2025_05

Our Managing Director Béatrice Fenske was a guest at the 41st Ladies Logistics Lounge – this time at Aurubis AG in Hamburg.
The focus: “Innovative logistics processes in the copper industry” – and what we as an industry must do to remain viable for the future.

🔍 What particularly concerns us as a freight forwarder:

·         Driver shortages and overloaded infrastructures – how do we remain able to deliver?

·         Regulatory complexity – how do we navigate international requirements?

·         Digitalization in transport logistics – where does it really begin, and how do we implement it in everyday life?

A real highlight was the presentation of the #Women4Metals initiative :
A strong example of how diversity, visibility and structural change can be actively lived in a traditionally male-dominated industry.

👉 From better equipment for women in production, to mentoring programs, to real presence in management levels:
This is where change happens – not as a slogan, but as reality.

The future needs technology, but also attitude.
