NST Information - Impact of the new CO2 toll (LCL & FCL traffic)

Regarding our information letter on the newly introduced CO2 toll tax from December 1, 2023, we would like to show you today the effects on domestic German transports in the general cargo/part and full load sector as well as on container transports.

In general, the cost regulation is as follows: € 0.16/km (equivalent to € 200 per tonne of CO2 emissions as a new CO2 surcharge based on the currently used truck fleets) according to the kilometres driven

For general cargo/partial and full loads, this is difficult to implement as a "flat rate", a calculation example makes this clear....
